TaKaRa PrimeSTAR™

PrimeSTAR™ HS DNA Polymerase, a novel new high fidelity PCR enzyme which provides maximum fidelity as well as extended product length (8.5 kb for human genomic DNA; 22 kb for l DNA). Targeted for demanding cloning (i.e. amplification of cDNA libraries) and sequencing applications, PrimeSTAR™ HS offers extremely high accuracy, and is the only enzyme whose fidelity is calculated by the method you use - sequence analysis. It also offers excellent amplification efficiency and shortened reaction times.

PrimeSTAR™ polymerase offers:

  • High Accuracy: A strong exonuclease activity results in an extremely low error rate, with only 12 errors per 250,000 bp as determined by DNA sequence analysis.

  • High Efficiency: Amplification efficiency higher than Taq olymerase.

TaKaRa SpeedSTAR™ for High-Speed PCR

SpeedSTAR™ HS DNA Polymerase is a convenient, efficient DNA polymerase specially designed for fast PCR. Extension times of as short as 10 sec/kb are possible, (compared to 60 sec/kb with general enzymes), dramatically reducing total reaction times. SpeedSTAR™ reactions can be performed using standard PCR instruments, and the robust two-buffer system facilitates efficient amplification of varyingsize fragments (up to 20 kb) with less optimization than other polymerases. Additionally, the hot start formulation provides increased specificity and reduced background.

  • High Speed Amplification: Amplify a 2 kb fragment in as little as 30 minutes.

Description

TaKaRa LA TaqTM is a thermostable DNA polymerase having 3' - 5' exonuclease activity (proof reading activity) utilizing LA PCR technology. Under general PCR conditions, higher efficiency and higher fidelity are obtained compared than conventional Taq DNA polymerases. This enzyme is basically applicable to any template DNA, and especially effective in amplifying more than 15 kbp fragments. For amplification of templates having complex secondary structure or high GC content, TaKaRa LA TaqTM with GC Buffer works the best. The supplied 2 x GC Buffer I, II are designed to achieve the best amplification of GC rich-template or ones having repeated sequences.

Description

TaKaRa Ex Taq HS is designed to be suitable for Hot Start PCR. It is derived from TaKaRa Ex Taq and neutralizing monoclonal antibody to Taq DNA polymerase. Non-specific amplification due to mispriming and/or formation of primer dimer before thermal cycling can be prevented, since the antybody inhibits the polymerase activity by binding to the Taq DNA polymerase until the temperature elevates. This enzyme can be also used in general PCR conditions, since monoclonal antibody is denatured in the initial DNA-denaturation step.

Description

Premix TaqTM (Ex TaqTM R-PCR Ver.) is a premix reagent designed to be available for Real Time PCR. The polymerase used in this product is TaKaRa Ex TaqTM for Hot Start PCR which is mixed with the neutralizing monoclonal antibody to Taq DNA polymerase. It allows the best performance in real time PCR by combination of this polymerase and the optimized buffer. This premix reagent is also designed to use simply and easily.

Real time monitoring of PCR is performed by addition of SYBR® Green I or various probes (ex. TaqMan® Probe, Applied Biosystems) as a detection reagent, using an exclusive instrument (ex. Smart Cycler® System, Cepheid).

SYBR® Premix Ex Taq (Perfect Real Time)

SYBR® Premix Ex Taq™ DNA Polymerase with ROX is a convenient (2X) premix consisting of Takara's high fidelity-high performance Ex Taq122; Hot Start DNA Polymerase, SYBR® Green I, and a newly formulated real time buffer which provides superior specificity and increased amplification efficiency for real time PCR. Antibody-mediated hot start technology prevents nonspecific amplification due to mispriming and/or formation of primer dimers during the reaction assembly. The Taq antibody-polymerase complex is denatured in the first cycling step, releasing the polymerase and allowing DNA synthesis to proceed.
Additionally, ROX reference dye is also supplied as a separate tube. ROX dye is a convenient internal reference standard for use in normalizing signals due to non-PCR related fluorescence fluctuations that occur either between wells or over time.

SYBR® Premix Ex Taq™ DNA Polymerase with ROX provides superior specificity, performance, and amplification yield for real time PCR on all major real time instruments.

Description

TaKaRa Z-TaqTM is a DNA polymerase especially developed to achieve rapid PCR. It offers PCR productivity unmatchable by any other enzyme, at 5-time faster speed. It achieves amplification of 1 kbp within 20 minutes. In addition to this high speed, specificity and sensitivity is as high as TaKaRa Ex TaqTM. It enables amplification of 17.5 kbp of human genome DNA. Thanks to its high productivity, TaKaRa Z-TaqTM is the best suitable for highthroughput multi-sample processing on a single cycler. By increasing cycling numbers (up to 50 cycles), the sensitivity can be further improved.
